Hi! Iā€™m Amy Brugh. I use she/her pronouns.

I started Amy Brugh Consulting in January 2013. I provide services in interim leadership, planning and facilitation, and organization development.

Prior to starting my consulting practice, I worked in nonprofit administration and external affairs. I am adjunct faculty in the School of Public Health at the University of Minnesota. I volunteer at Family Tree Clinic and Minneapolis Central Library. I am engaged in community journalism, covering local government through Minneapolis Documenters.

My training as a facilitator includes Technology of Participation, Art of Hosting, and Restorative Justice practices. I am a Qualified Neutral, which means I am trained and can practice as a Civil Mediator. I am an alum of the James P. Shannon Leadership Institute. I earned a Master of Public Health degree in Community Health Education from the University of Minnesota and Bachelor of Arts degrees in Psychology and Sociology from the University of Nebraska.

My home is South Minneapolis. I bike, walk, and use transit for my transportation. My favorite places are independent coffee shops, art museums, dance floors, gardens, and libraries. I hope to travel to my 47th country someday soon.
